| Anybody interested in joining the American Government Simulation? |
|
It's the spiritual successor to the legendary National Government Simulation 2, after a long renewal process within the NGS community that led to less successful NGS3 (unofficial) and NGS: America (official), and has over 150 active members.
Run by political simulation veteran Brady Carlson (a progressive Democrat from New Hampshire), who serves as game master and chief administrator, the American Government Simulation allows players to begin as a member of the House of Representatives. Over the course of the game, players will be able to become lobbyists, Senators, Governors, and Supreme Court Justices. Players can even travel the grueling road to the White House, earning endorsements from both prominent real life and simulation political figures as they participate in simulated primaries and presidential elections.
Players who are consistently active in the game, from both a quantitative and a qualitative standpoint, will be awarded Prestige Points, an indicator of how much political weight they have in our simulated version of America. Prestige points make it easier to win key endorsements and, ultimately, higher political office.
Oh yes, and there's also a general discussion pub forum.
The offician link for the American Government Simulation is www.americangovernmentsimulation.com.
