1. They never owned him, really.

He moved in lock, stock, and barrel as a ready-made presidential candidate. They never even met him before that, and haven't met him much since, either. He lives in a bubble there.

2. He bought a pig farm there and called it a ranch

during the 2000 election. Used it for photo ops to make the GDP think he was a good ole' rancher from Texas. Kept that same ole' pile of brush to work on for two years along with that same bale of hay out front of that same ole' dilapidated shack.

The GDP bought it, hook, line, and sinker. People tell me all the time, "Bush is just a good ole' Texas rancher protecting us from them ragheads
who wants to kill us".

3. He doesn't even own the pickup he drives there.

It could be a real drag when he has to live there 24/7, when the crowds are gone and the only people to talk to are the locals. Pickles doesn't want to live there.
