| 3. No, it's Clinton's fault |
|
Just kidding.
Actually, these kinds of storms will befall our shores with greater frequency and intensity due to global warming, so yeah, in a way, it is Bush's (and his daddy's and Reagan's, etc.) fault.
I hope environmentalists manage to make this point.

I'm just kidding too.
Seriously, you've got a real point about environmental causes.

| 4. Really? How will FratBoy respond when someone asks him why.... |
|
...the people living in the low-lying areas along the coast south of Tampa-St Pete were not given a mandatory evacuation order? Anyone that's ever lived in areas affected by hurricanes knows that you can't fully predict where they're going to go...and Charley proved that point in a terrible fashion.
Again, if I were a survivor of Charley, I would be pissed that I had not been told to get out. I would be pissed that in some places all I would have received was a forty-five minute warning.
Jebbie should have known better, and both he and his brother should expect to get some hard questions.

to the people cleaning up the mess, restoring services, etc.
Kerry isn't going down there for that very reason. It's pointless.

he can caper and grimace for the cameras, get in the way, pretend to be concerned. What a great photo-op! "See, I'm concerned about the poor hurricane victims. What a great compassionate conservative I am." :grr: :puke: :puke: :grr:

Yes, they will try to shovel all the money they can into the state but gettin it to the people in need has never been a Republican strongpoint...Small businesses will come first and they will get the bulk of aid. Mny people will probably still be waiting 2 or 3 months from now...

is busy in Iraq. The Iraq War is going to hit home big time in the next few days. He's going to have huge problems and I don't think that the media can cover this up for too long.
Bush* gambled with the National Guard and lost. Many families will have prolonged suffering in this disaster.

| 14. I think Bush will over promise and under deliver. |
|
Bush's efforts to buy the votes of the hurricane victims will turn to shit because everything Bush does turns to shit. It is his Fecal Midas Touch.
People in Florida will initially praise him for his rapid response but later will blame him for the inevitable delays and red tape. Floridians will dismiss the initial complaints and criticisms, but those will begin to add up in peoples' minds and eventually more and more Floridians will despise Bush as a hypocritical liar. In 4 or 5 weeks Bush will be exploding at anyone who dares question why things are taking so long.
