I got into a political spat in a chatroom today. This nazi repug couldn't have a civil debate. He started name calling and than he said:

I didn't know if i should laugh or cry.... Is this what we are up against? I don't think we will get to the point of an all out war, but i do think it's only going to get nastier.

It was a debate in one of my general history classes about the bombing of Hiroshima. The prof asked if anyone was against it, and I said that I was. After I explained why (mostly don't like my government vaporizing people with no warning), this freeper (ex-Marine and really proud of it) gets up and starts yelling at me from across the room. I mean yelling. He asked me if I had ever travelled outside of the U.S., and then he ignored me when I said that I had. Then, he told me to leave his country and go live elsewhere if I didn't love America. I asked him why I had to love everything the U.S. government had ever done in order to be a "real" American, like slavery, using biological weapons against Native Americans, turning the guns on our own people from time to time, and he said that he loved America more than I did and that I needed to leave and go live in some Communist country. I told him he was a fascist (funny mostly because he didn't know what that meant), and that was the end of the class.

These guys really are nuts, though, and sometimes I think it's because they were brainwashed badly in the military. I know many former military who are fine, but some of them turn out funny in the head. Maybe that's what that guy's problem is.
