Hilarious moment in Louisiana today

Went down for a campaign thing in Baton Rouge, actually it was like a roundtable between Dems and Repubs. Anyways, I asked a questioned during it, obviously slanted just a tad to the left, and afterward I was standing against this wall and this kid comes up to me. He's like 16, and he's sort of pointing and stuttering on about "You!" "You" "You" are.... are.... are... a.....


liberal!



So I responded, uhhh, yeah. My mother taught me we should care about those less fortunate just like Jesus says.


I swear to god the kid turned an odd shade of purple and walked off. Funny stuff.

1. What is it with teenagers being Republicans?

As explanation, I'm having an office "war" with my boss. I put a picture of Yoko Ono on his door signed "Love, Yoko".

He put that stupid picture of Bush and Pickles that looks like it has original autographs (I've gotten 2 in the mail) on my door. A teenager of one of our employees came in my office, saw it and said "Cool! You have Bush's autograph!" As if it from <insert latest teen idol here>. All I could do to keep my mouth shut.

P.S. She did read the Boondocks cartoons I have on the door, no comment from her. Ha!

5. it's the attitude

I'd say most male Republicans are still acting like teenagers. It's cool that we're bad-asses and we can kick everyone around. That and the lack of empathy are what makes them fit as Republicans. I'd say that when I was 14 I agreed with the Republicans. I've grown up though and some people never really do.
