Who funds Drudge?

I'm listening to Al Franken's "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them" audio book. In one chapter Al mentioned an incident with Drudge at a tuxedo event in Washington.

Having been to Drudge's site a few times (easy links to world newspapers), and not remembering seeing m/any ads, I wondered where he gets his funding.

Anyone know?

I asked a question out of curiousity that was piqued by the research done on DU on Regnery Publishing.

But, there was an article in the Miami Herald a few years back that estimates Drudge makes, based on current traffic (with the same model applied) about $7 million a year.

And that article partly drew me to the medium, in fact, though getting Drudge's hits is no easy affair, even if you've got the goods, as I've learned...

and the fact that Richard Mellon Scaife was funding all of the anti-Clinton operations, I have always assumed Scaife bankrolled Drudge from the beginning.
