it's very peaceful. saw some cops getting people off a scaffolding in front of one building. i had just taken a pic of the people up there and then looked back up and the cops were clearing it off.

I'm stuck watching it on CSPAN, which is definitely the best outlet to see the march. What an amazing sight!! I loved that they're not editing out any of the profanities.

The rightwing nutcases who get interviewed seem to be split between those who genuinely can't understand why everyone doesn't want to fellate *, and the Hitler Youth just itching to jump the barricades and start cracking skulls. Both are scary.

Thanks for getting out there. We owe you. I'm truly inspired by the sheer numbers of people from all walks of life coming out to protest. Even priests! How bad do you have to be for the Pope to hate your ass? :P

I've never, ever seen anything like this! And it's been going on for 2 1/2 hours now. The crowd seems so much like real America. Men, Women, Young, Old, Black, White, Hispanic, every other nationality. This has got to show the world, the repubs and especially the media that the Boy King has got to go! How can this be ignored? But I bet it will be. The media covers Bush events, but as soon as Kerry gets on, they either cut it or talk over him.

Now C-Span is flashing the sign from the GOP convention saying "Thank You New York". What a hoot!
