God help me! The guy I'm training with next week is a Rush Limbaugh fan.

I've been on my new job for three weeks now. So far, I've trained with two different drivers so I could cover their routes when they went on vacation.

Next week, I'm training with a third guy who'll soon be taking two weeks off. Unfortunately, I just found out that each and every day, he listens religiously to the Big Fat Idiot. Which means that come next week, I'll have to endure five full days of that pill-popping hypocrite.

9. Keep mentioning that it sounds as if he is still committing felony

drug abuse. Rub the felony part in over and over. Let the driver know that normal people aren't as drug addled as Rush and that he is not mainstream. Mainstream people don't listen to crap like he spews. Let him know that you don't appreciate being preached at by a drug addict who clearly has lost all respect for the laws of our great country. Ask if there isn't something on that normal people can listen to and enjoy instead of lunatic prattle.

Become one of those incredibly annoying people who whistle tunes all day. AND.. talk his ear off! Talk about anything.. it'll make him crazy as he tries to strain for the sounds of his master's voice.

I don't envy you... but I say, since you can't make him turn off the radio, then you could make it impossible, in the oh-so-friendly way, for him to hear Rush.

Rush makes your skin crawl and you don't want to listen to it. You're on the job and if you are forced to listen to hate radio against your will, you could be on the giving end of a hostile work environment complaint. You have rights. Exercise them.
