They have brought to question the valor of every soldier who has been wounded in defense of our country. I wonder how many of the 6,690 (as of 8/30/04) wounded soldiers in Iraq and the many more in Afghanistan know that in 30 years they may have to explain the severity of their wounds that earned them their Purple Heart.
