This date in history: 65th anniversary of the start of WWII

Germany invades Poland at 6:30 AM, September 1, 1939.

The allies (England and France) declare war on Germany September 3.

By October 1, Nazis take Warsaw after shelling the city from September 16th to the 27th. Poland's 19th century army was no match for the most technologically advanced military of its time.

Sigh, I can see the poor and brave Poles trying their best to fight on, must have been a tough fight, god bless the Poles for at least trying.

2. It's amazing all that happened in that 6 year period.

Just think about it. In the same amount of time (roughly) that GWB has been President, the US got attacked by Japan (1941), attacked the Germans in North Africa (1942), beat the Japanese at Midway (1942), invaded Italy (1943), invaded Normandy (1944), and defeated Germany and Japan (1945). And that was starting with virtually no military capacity. The quantities of war machines and men cranked out in that brief 4 year period is truly incredible.

4. And the mobilization of that war

machine here may have been the beginning of our downfall. WWII created the military-industrial complex which lead to Vietnam and the Iraq War to name just two American fiascos.

I wish we could use that kind of laser-like focus to end world hunger.

3. Since the Bushes financed WWII for the Nazis, it is appropriate that RNC

features these monstrous goons on this day, 65 years later.

We must ask ourselves what role the Bushes played in the murder of millions and the invasion of many sovereign states (with the intention of destroying the "mongrel nation" the United States).

If we forget this history EVER we will surely lose what is left of our democracy!


We KNOW that their family company, Brown Brothers Harriman, was identified as a Nazi asset and operation in 1942 (more than 3 years AFTER the invasion of Poland). We also knoiw that they pocketed at least $1.2 million from their investments in Hitler and the Nazi war machine that killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and millions of political opponents of Hitler and many millions of Jews.

So WHY do we stay silent?
