Were there conspiracy theories about John Lennon's death?

I watched an episode of Law and Order awhile ago that suggested a conspiracy. Any credible sites or news stories about this?

4. yeah, this guy is funny

I've seen him around a lot. He's convinced Stephen King shot John Lennon. He drives his crazy van around, and he's always calling into local talk radio shows, disguising his identity. He's not all there.

6. I ran into that guy up in Bangor, Maine back in '92!

I was visiting a friend who lived in Ellsworth. We took a drive up to Bangor and my friend told me all about this guy who was stalking Stephen King and described the crazy van he drove around in. Then, lo and behold - there it was parked at a supermarket! What a loon! I took a bunch of pictures. :-)

I never heard all of it, but something to do with him being knocked off. You might be able to find some stuff out there. I think it's a little too much, but it's out there.

There is a book "Who killed John Lennon" I read it years ago
and it was pretty compelling. I got it from the local library.

LMFAO.. Now thats crazy. However, there are alot of theories about Lennon and when you consider that he was heavily watched by the FBI and they spent alot of money trying to deport him I wouldn't doubt a conspiracy. Too bad he's not alive today. I'd love to hear what he has to say about the Shrub..
