I am a Vietnam Veteran. I flew 250+ missions. Beyond that, all I can say is I was ASA. Top-secrete crypto. My military record, other than the DD-214 (etc) is hidden. The ASA was not in Vietnam. Wink .. nod! Never, ever. But XYZ was. I was with XYZ. In math terms, XYZ=ASA.

1. My dad served in the Navy for WWII

and he has an American Theater battle ribbon (plus credit for
sinking something). And till the day he died (and even now),
the military will NOT say what his ship did, or where it was
when it did it.
