On the other hand, this election could be the breaking point for the Democrats in another manner.

If you think they are behaving badly now. Just wait til they lose this election. Over at Democratic Underground, they're already talking of 'revolution'.

he sounds like he's discounting the possibility of revolution. If Kerry loses, what happened at the 2000 inauguration will look like a Sunday picnic in comparison. We will take back our country, by election or by whatever means necessary.

5. It's a message board, not the friggin' gospel

I've seen a few RW sites/boards/blogs that rip on DU and say that since they saw something ridiculous on DU, that all Dems must be nuts.

Wake up! It's a friggin' message board! With any message board, you're going to see a wide variety of opinions. And their boards seem just as crazy as DU can be at times.

I lurked on one RW site earlier that has a forum dedicated to trashing DU, and an example of their stunning debate skills was a picture of a turd floating in a toilet.
