But I'm new to the world of message bulletin boards, but I've really enjoyed lurking at DU for quite some time. Anyway, my question is, what is a "kick" and what purpose dose it serve?

the top of the forum list so it doesn't sink out of site. So rather than post a message, U just write 'kick' emo (end of message) or n/t (no text) and it bumps it up again. Sometimes, tho, it only needs a nudge.

add: BTW, the video was sent on 2 my list of people. I have dial up and it didn't take 4ever load. So all U dial ups check it out!
