Just a recall.
The poverty increases by 1,3 million American for the third consecutive year. 36 million of them live with less than 9 393 $ per year (= population of Belgium + Portugal + Holland, or population of Argentina).
In 2003, 1,4 million additional American were without any medical insurance (this number could increase this year), that is to say 45 million in all (Canada + Autralie + Ireland).
17,6% of the teen-agers live in misery, 800 000 more than in 2002

| 1. And Bush would ask you: "...Your point is?" |

Well taken by me.
This man (?) is an abysmal failure as President and needs to be fired.

| 2. I think it is intentional - part of "his" overall corporatist plan |
|
Desperate people (if not so desperate that they actually revolt) are easy pickings for the corporate machine. They will take anything they can get just to stay alive. Suddenly, that job at Walmart or McDonalds looks desireable, or at least so necessary, that people will put up with almost anything to avoid losing it.
