4. Back when CNN was doing real news, they caught him in a lie.

In 2002, Rumsfeld claimed that he never met Saddam Hussein back in 1984. CNN then rolled the now famous clip of him shaking hands with Saddam Hussein and questioned him about it. At first he wanted t know where CNN got the footage and finally said "Isn't that interesting? There I am."
