6. Same reason why people believe that Kerry has never addressed the
issues (and run on his Vietnam service).

Every time that Kerry was giving a live speech and CNN/whatever was covering it, they would break away to the latest exciting development that nothing happened in the Laci Peterson case. Or some kid getting bit by a dog. Or Bush burping.
