A heartfelt plea to my fellow DUers

Out of consideration and respect to each other, could we please try to use reliable sources for our information. This last week, I've seen our threads overrun with FAUX News type "some people say" and "it's being reported that" without sources being named. As a result, hate-radio drivel and Drudge blogrot is overtaking serious concerns. And this is not from trolls but from our brethren. Please. Don't go to Drudge. You're just feeding the beast. You complain how the mainstream media reports on Bush's National Guard service are being obscured with a barrage of spin. And then you reference Drudge. He's part of the machine. We're not talking increases in Medicare costs or healthcare costs when you're going to Drudge for the latest anti-Kerry spin straight from Rove and Co. We all deserve better. Use links. At least reference the source of your information. We're intelligent people with legitimate issues. Don't muffle our voices with "information" from Limbaugh or O'Reilly. If we wanted to listen to them, we would. Let's have a higher standard. Covering the threads with all the falsities of hate-radio and wingnut websites helps no one. You're bringing dirt into our house. Let's keep it clean.
