She kicked ass during the Watergate and Iran/Contra scandals. She was
a major figure on PBS (I think) during I/C, and if you have ever watched
"All The President's Men" she is in a brief real-news segment catching
Richard Kleindienst (Attorney General at the time) in what turned out later
to be a major lie.
Her articles tend to be long and a bit dry, but she is as uncompromising
and thorough as they come.
