Clark: The armed forces are in Iraq taking orders from the CinC. Franks could have always resigned, but he did what he was told, even though he says he thought it was wrong.

Clark: The war in Iraq was a world class, five star, presidential blunder. There was all kinds of advice against it. The president and vice president misled the country . . . they did hype the intelligence.

you must be resolute to win it. They have mismanaged this war and we need to get a new president to lead this country.

The worst thing we could do if we believe in reform is to put troops into another country, because it would make Osama bin Laden look like a prophet to the Islamic countries surrounding Iraq.

Help the leadership of the surrounding nations see the wisdom of stabilizing Iraq, and how it is in their best interests to have Iraq rehabilitated. We won't get a U.S.-style constitutional country out of Iraq, but you can get a stable country in a volatile area of the world.

We had Saddam contained, surrounded, under pressure. We did not have an urgent reason to invade Iraq. And it diverted attention and resources from effective responses to terrorism.

Bush isn't dedicated to fighting against terrorism. Clark agrees, "keep bringing the truth out to the American people."
