| Assume earthquakes in Hawaii, LA, and NJ are minor? |
|
On our news we only are hearing about the AL rock. I caught a brief glimpse about the earthquakes, but they must be so minor they don't matter.
Anyone heard more? Especially interested in the LA one.

| 3. The last one I felt was 9/9/01 |
|
It was a pretty strong one and did a little damage in Santa Monica. The reason being is that it centered closer to the surface. So weird I had forgot about that quake since it happened so close to 9/11.

| 4. Were the sales of Harry Potter's latest up in that area? |
|
In the Akron Beacon Journal, we had one wingnut who blamed the local monsoon (actually, very heavy raining leading to floods) on God punishing the people who bought books about witchcraft.
Never mind the rest of the areas affected by flood damage, like churches, etc.
