| Lets have another thread dedicated to Kerry kicking ass on Letterman |
|
I am just so proud of the job he did, I think that Kerry's recent stops on shows like Letterman and Regis are really helping him, mostly b/c the bull shit media does get a chance to edit and turn his words around on him.
Last night Kerry was smart, compassionate, funny, and confident.
I am so glad I tivo'd it, I have watched it three time already and the crowd loved Kerry, Letterman did a fabulous job of asking Kerry the most difficult questions to date, "Explain your vote" and address "the flip flopper" tag.
Kerry was exceptional and I am so glad that the media can't do a damn thing about it.
Have I mentioned how much I love Kerry and Letterman?
If you haven't seen it, you are missing out. But thanks to Al Gore for a lovely little thing called the internet, you can watch it anyway.

audience always seemed either really Rep. or really indifferent in the past. I really like how Letterman has become a good, intelligent political interviewer the past few years.

| 6. from the audience's interviews I've seen when Letterman talks |
|
to them they seem to be from all over the US...in fact I think his show is probably the one thing that fairly 'middle'Americans like to go to when in New York..so it's not a New York audience, and Kerry was given a raptous reception..not just polite..this is a great sign

I know this isn't real important but I noticed after he read the top-10 list, he turned to throw the piece of paper through the window just like Dave usually does. It impressed me that he thought to do that, know what I mean?

| 5. Who would have guessed that the best showcase for Kerry so far... |
|
would have been Letterman? I cannot think of **one** criticism to make about Kerry's appearance -- he was bright, highly articulate, engaging, intelligent without being "wonkish," revealed an sharp wit, discussed issues in very specific ways, etc.
He was brilliant! :toast:
