the article argues that cheney voted for the same things that kerry did. therefore, cheney is a real threat to the country, the article argues. by equation, the article can be interpreted as saying since kerry=cheney in terms of these votes, KERRY is actually a threat to the nation.

maybe i'm reading too far into this. i'm quite a tin-foil-hat-wearing media-bias-pointer-outer. maybe the fact that cheney's flip flopping is the real danger to the country.
