The world listens to America when....

(a. We have a lot of money to spread around. You blew ours and they know it. Hell even the elite money lenders are telling the US to cool it.

(b. We scare people with our military might. Uh...George...been reading the papers about how stretched thin our military is? Well so has the rest of the world. Very impressive Bush.

(c. We earn respect by caring for the unfortunate regardless of creed. And what money have you cut off to the UN George?

(d. When they identify with Americans as in, 9/11. But of course, you had to introduce imperialism and that just sort of disenfranchised, oh, about 3/4th of the world.
