And maybe it is me but it seems like there has been a lot of truely senseless violence lately.

| 2. I live in columbus and this is the first i've heard of this |

But seriously I would rather take a gun to a Bush event than wear an anti-war shirt at a toby keith concert, you most likely would have a higher survival percentage.
It however shows how ignorant repugs can be. I'm curious what this story meant when it said the guy who attacked him said bad things about the troops.

wearing an "Iraqi freedom" t-shirt. Are those anti-war? Around here it is the repubs that wear those.

This whole thing is confusing me now. I reverse my original point, I don't know how this guy got away with beating this guy at a Toby Keith concert of all things. I would almost bet this is some sort of set-up because the kid didn't want to go back...and I don't blame him.

I only only know that I have seen freeper types wearing shirts that say "Iraqi freedom". This was probably a freeper on freeper argument? But I really have no idea. And there isn't really enough information about the shirt in the article for me to be sure that it is similar to the ones that I have seen either. The only thing I am sure of is that a Toby Keith concert probably is crawling with freepers, drunken and out of hand...of that I feel confident. I wouldn't want to go to such a concert if you paid me.

Hell,I'd pay some one to beat my ass up real good if it meant I didn't have to go back to that hell hole called Iraq.
Better beat up than dead...

to Iraq. Very weird story and very unbelievable.
People don't beat other people up because they are soldiers. It just doesn't happen folks.
Now you might beat up a soldier if he thinks he can make a move on your girl because he's a soldier.

| 9. iraqi freedom?! man, that shit is sooooooo 2002.. |

I used to see 'Free Iraq' bumperstickers all the time around here. I haven't seen one in well over a year. I'm sure the same people who had initially expressed that sentiment now want to turn the place into glass. And yes, my bullshit detector is going off on this one, and it hasn't failed me yet.

| 10. He nearly lost a leg, a month ago? |
|
And he's wearing a Shirt that says "free Iraq" at a Toby Keith concert, and is somehow attacked?
So there is a group of dedicated anti-vets, who can afford TK tix just so they can beat up a lone wounded vet with the most remarkable recovery in medical history?
Right....

Another guy was just killed at a bar for not giving someone a cigarette. Cincinatti, I think.

| 16. If the latest poll numbers out of Ohio are correct |
|
and it really is 50% for Mr bush & 47% for Kerry, I'd say that 50% of the people in the state are clinically insane.
