I voted for Nader in both 1996 and 2000, and I have defended the man numerous times, both here and at other forums. But as far as this individual is concerned, because I plan to vote for Kerry I am a "pimp," and because I opined that we can't afford Nader this year I am a "Nader basher."

In the same thread, this person also claimed that DUers hate "a real progressive" like Nader even more than we hate George W. Then I guess Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Michael Moore, Barbara Ehrenreich and Cornel West are not "real progressives." They all supported Nader in 2000 but have urged liberals in swing states to vote for Kerry this year.

And the Naderites wonder why the left resents them? :eyes:

I've urged my Nader friends to vote for Nader on November 3rd. I plan on giving them a paper ballot which they can have framed or they can mail back to me. On November 2nd, though, I'm urging them to vote for Kerry. We cannot afford four more years of Bush.
