How do the member of DU feel about the amendment that has been introduced by a California Congressman that would allow foreign born citizens run for president? What do DUers think about the recent survey of Republicans that showed that a majority of Republicans wanted Arnold to run for president in 2008?

Sorry, on this subject I will not budge. The founders had their reasons, and they've consistently proved themselves more protective of the country than the opportunistic, cynical, politically motivated Republicans who want to amend the constitution "at the whim of a hat".
Second question: Pubs for Ahnolt? Who cares? Besides a constitutional amendment would NEVER be ratified by 2008.
