| That little girl and her sign |
|
I really did not know what happened to the kid and her sign and did not see a story to read until this morning.
So daddy, a Repug, takes the little kid to a Democratic rally so his kid can wave a Bush Cheney sign. What the hell did he think was going to happen? Did he think she would get a kiss and a cookie from the people. This country is so up in arms as it is over this election battle that waving that sign is similar to waving a red cape in the face of a bull.
So the little kid cried. So what? Look at the crying going on by mothers, wives, sisters and other family members over soldiers wounded or killed in Iraq. Thats the kind of crying that upsets me, not some snot nosed little kid who lost her freaking sign.
I compare this Republican father who takes his daughter to a Democratic rally to the Palestinian parents who think its perfectly okay for their kids to throw rocks at tanks and heavily armed troops. This father should be prosecuted for endangering the welfare of his child and screw giving her a new sign.

Mr. Parlock is a serial victim who exposes his own children to unreasonable and avoidable danger in his demented world.
If he was dangling his daughter off a high hotel balcony, people might have a better idea of the proper response to this "man."

| 4. C'mon you HAVE to had know it was BS, though. |

NO ONE in ANY DEMOCRATIC crowd I have ever been in, has acted that way. We do not spit on soldiers, we don't spit on grieving families, we don't abuse children, we don't tear signs from people's hands.
This is a fucking set up, and the guy should be arrested for child abuse. This bullshit story will make the papers, without the truth... NO ONE would rip a sign from a little girls hands.. bullshit. THe father would have beat the man to pulp if that were the case, because he'd NEVER let his 3-year old that far from him that he could not grab the person that did it. Total bullshit.

| 5. I still say it was photoshopped... |
|
look at the "sign" in the little girl's hands - doesn't look quite right, does it.
Of course it would be just as easy to stick a ripped up sign in the hands of the crying girl and take a photograph, but something about the photo looks off to me.

| 6. Maybe it's because he's handing the sign to her |
|
that's what caught my eye right off. If any thug ripped something out of this little girl's hands, dad - ANY dad, would not be handing a part of the sign back to her while the perp stands there smiling, dad would be pummeling the guy.
I think the brother ripped the sign up, dad hands her part of it back and somehow they made her cry. Sure would like to speak to the people standing around.
