Michael Moore will be speaking at UVSC on Oct 20th.

The repukes are putting up a fight, all the UVSC newspapers announcing his arrival have been stolen, and there are flyers posted around campus telling him to go home.

Congratulatrions top UVSC for bringing Mr Moore, but shame on the students for closing their minds in an institute of higher education.

Lets stand up for a man who stood up for America. Be there!

Call UVSC and complain about the newspapers being gone and the hate messages around campus, but be sure to give them a hive five for bringing MM to town!

2. Utah has the dubious distinction...

...of being the state where the Bush/Kerry spread in the polls is the largest of all states. Kerry's only pulling 25% there, vs. Bush's 65%.

4. But Salt Lake City is relatively liberal

and the Provo/Orem areas (home to UVSC) are big college towns. There are some VERY open minded people here, especially considering the overwhelming pressure to fit in to the predominant culture. If Kerry is polling 25% in Utah, you know those 25% are hard core.

3. Here's what I propose

Wallpaper the Utah Valley State College (UVSC) Campus with flyers welcomming Moore, announcing the date, and challenging Republicans to a free speech, then wait for those flyers to get pulled, then do it again, in waves, and again, and again untill the date of the speech.

I'm writing all the local papers challenging Utah to show its best face and welcome the exchange of ideas. If Utahns are afraid of ideological opposition, it must be because their ideas have been constructed on a thin foundation.

In addition, I would love to provide the little Repukes that come to heckle Moore a bit of street theater, something along the lines of the Billionaires for Bush group.

Im open to all ideas. The date is October 20th. Great tie in for Halloween. I need help:)

The student body president who invited Moore (Jim Bassi - 863-8175) is facing a petition of recall over this.

I can NOT believe these little FASCISTS prigs!

Please contact UVSC to show your support. The receptionist there says she's had over 1000 complaints and I am the first positivevoice she has heard from to date.
