9. well, I think that "HEADS UP" threads

are fine, as along as they include:

WHO, WHERE, WHEN in the subject line.

ie. BYRD C-Span2 NOW (1pm eastern)
WOW! Bob Graham on Franken! ARR 2pm Eastern tune in!

I know a lot of cubesters want transcriptions but that's unreasonable. few can do that kind of listening/typing, though a description of the topic discusses and, if you know, when a repeat or transcript might be available is simple kindness

16. I'm with you, nostamj. I hate it. I also hate it

when people just post a link in the OP, with NO information about what it's about, forcing you to click through for your FIRST clue. And I ESPECIALLY hate it when those links are to pdf's, which my SlimBrowser doesn't handle very well, or video (and I can't tell because of the truncated URLs, which I also hate) since I'm on dial-up and videos take too long.
