My interesting workplace...

Check this out. This is my workplace. In my department, I have:

A repuke boss, and a former boss who actually got in trouble over his repukeness. I have a Hannity/O'Reilly watching friend. I have a repuke co-worker whose son worked for a repuke congressman and who actually went to Florida in 2000 to (get this) "help with the recount" (I think you all know what I mean by that.) I have another repuke co-worker who ran for city council as a repuke. I have two repukes who sit behind me who like to pass around those infamous e-mails that have been sooooo overdone it isn't even funny...but they laugh anyway.

Then there's the one other Democrat that I know of in my department. That's it, just two of us. Guess who the military veterans are. Yup, my fellow Dem is an Army Ranger vet, and I'm an Air Force vet. So, what should that tell my idiot freeper coworkers?

And they make fun of us all the time for shit they hear on FAUX news about Kerry. But, I guess he and I fought to give them the freedom to ridicule us for our political choices, huh?

For the record, I served in peacetime and used "fought" in the general sense.

5. I'm a vet and work with mostly other vets

We're about evenly split, interestingly enough. Half of us think Bush is a dangerous lunatic and the other half support his agenda. One guy who is totally socially conservative, pro-life and the whole bit, is really angry about the war. Go figure. Don't know if he plans to vote or not but I'm pleasantly surprised.

6. New guy in my department....

Loves Bush, thinks Ronaldus Rex was "the Greatest President EVER"....

So I'm listening to him run his ReTHUG rap, and countering with how the Ray-Gun era was pretty grim for me, and no I wasn't a "fucking moron" like others who "Made out GREAT" during that time inferred I was...

I almost asked him, since I think the only people who are truly ReTHUGS are the Wealthy and stupid sheep, why he was working, since he obviously must be the son of money, since he didn't strike me as a ditto-head cargo-cult ReTHUG moran...

If the subject ever gets to Chimpy's Illegal War, I'll ask why he's not in Iraq already....

And this is at a major University, friends, one of Mrs. Cheney's "Hotbeds of Liberal Sedition" they're so worried about having their precious Hitler Jugend run out of....

7. My opinion on Rangers is

they are bad asses and I am thankful to them. All of them. You can tell that to your Ranger coworker. He is much appreciated.
