1. Well, Conveniently our power went out

from around 5:50 CST until 7:30. We get East Coast 8:00 shows at 7:00 because of the time difference. But I went straight to the TV and there was another show on.

Did it air at 8:00 Eastern? If so, Chattanooga affiliate pre-empted it.

a movie about a washed-up pilot who went to South America to rescue his love from drug runners!!

7. Someone should compile stations last week and this week

who did this and we should bombard them! I tried posting this on GD campaign forum but no responses.

Last week in OK, an email was sent out in the afternoon that OKC station was going to preempt 60 minutes. We bombed 'em with calls and emails and they put it back on. This week, they did it again.

Someone who knows how should check archives and compile a complete list of all stations that did this, last time and this time. I would, but have no clue how.

I think they are getting a clue since last week the Pre-empted the Barnes interview. I along with apparently many others here in Austin, emailed them protest letters. So maybe they actually read them and listened. Wouldn't that be something.

11. Yeah, but only because my CBS affiliate isn't from here!

I live in a very conservative town, and if the local station (which owns ABC, NBC, Telemundo, Fox, and two others I can't remember) had to carry it they wouldn't. My CBS affiliate is from San Antonio, a Democratic city.

I'm collecting this info to email to a friend who predicted this $#it back in the early 1990's.

Say cancelled if thats the case. Alot of DUers may think it means it was just postphoned.
