| A question about the whole memo-thingie... |
|
Has anyone tried to use an mid-70's IBM Seleric (sp?) typewriter to try to duplicate the memo(s). I am not as up-to-date on this story like many of you guys but I would think that would help answer some questions of the possibility of the memo(s) being forged or not. Just a thought I had.

appear able to reproduce the memo's.
The standard Selectric could not do proportional spacing.
So the technology to do the memo's in 72 was there.
Missing is where the memo's came from - they have material that would be - per the secretary - consistent with the Lt Col's views and CYA habits - but CBS can not show that they came from his military file.
