Sent this to CBS (because they squashed the 60 Minutes report)

I have to say I am horrified that CBS appears to be withholding newsworthy information because "It would be inappropriate to air the report so close to the presidential election," as one of your spokeswomen said regarding the squashed 60 Minutes report. As a news organization, you have a responsibility to your audience to provide them with information they need to make informed decisions. Do we have any more important decision to make this year than who we elect as President of the United States? Your statement today shows that CBS no longer has the courage to report controversial stories. Once that has happened, you become a propaganda tool for the government rather than their watchdog. I ask you this, if it was discovered today that our government was running a modern-day Auschwitz for Arab-Americans, would CBS not report this story because of the proximity to the presidential election? Grow a spine or get out of the business.
