| CIA Tells British and Bush 2 Diff Stories |
|
Washington Post
July 11 — The CIA tried unsuccessfully in early September 2002 to persuade the British government to drop from an official intelligence paper a reference to Iraqi attempts to buy uranium in Africa that President Bush included in his State of the Union address four months later, senior Bush administration officials said yesterday.
Condos Statement Today
Condoleezza Rice said the CIA had cleared Bush’s January State of the Union speech in its entirety, including a sentence — now labeled false — alleging Iraq was looking to buy uranium from Africa.
Now why would the CIA tell Britain to drop it and tell Bush it was OK!

Liars!
I want to hear one person call them liars. Preferably, to their faces.
