| Freeper version of visibility |
|
After my two door knocking shifts, I went out to be a poll watcher in the so-called Uptown area of Minneapolis, which is a youth-oriented, semi-Bohemian neighborhood south of downtown, with bookstores, interesting restaurants, and art movie houses.
I went through the main intersection (Lake and Hennepin) three or four times today, and each time, there were teams of happy, cheering young people waving Kerry signs. There was another bunch of them about six blocks north.
After my stint as a poll watcher was over at 8PM (no one was standing in line), I walked back in the direction of Lake and Hennepin to return to my car, and I saw a group of young men approaching the corner with Buch/Cheney signs, roaring in a way that sounded like booing.
They took up a corner and started roaring and waving signs. A couple of cars honked (suburbanites come to the area to play), but the point is, these guys 1) didn't start doing visibility until after the polls had closed, and 2) sounded angry and threatening, not happy and enthusiastic.
Silly freepers!

Not to mention useless. Which makes a kind of freeper-sense.
