it's starting to get clear.
Greg Palast was on. Ohio and New Mexico definitely stolen, as well as Florida. He was cancelled off TWO npr shows because of what he was going to say this.
They knew it couldn't be helped. The black boxes dropped the votes and there was NO WAY to get them back. That the paper ballots couldn't make it up.
Now the thing it too be sure to get the diebold machines fixed (paper or gone). The energy needs to be directed somewhere else.
Getting the voting rolls fix, getting rid of assholes like Blackwell and Hood.
Me, I'm going to find out about becoming a poll worker for the next election.
In Oregon there are no diebold machines. We had a great election, and Kerry won of course.

we need an investigation that will piss Americans off. I still think most people are not aware of the fraud. God knows the media won't touch it.

clearuing all the evidence.
There is NO EVIDENCE out there... every time they had to reset the boxes all the votes alraedy in went away, for example
This is why we need to get rid of these machines,
Paper and pencil, paper and pencil paper and pencil, more than ever (or paper trail with a print out, which the GOP WILL FIGHT)

Kerry up and quit.
He had the perfect opportunity to highlight and investigate all these shortcomings. But, the establishment doesn't want any of this stuff talked about, let alone esposed.
Kerry is part of that establishment. If there was ever any doubt on that, it was erased when he conceded and quit.
Randi Rhodes' show was really good. She's got way more balls that John Kerry.

| 9. Excuse me, but don't voters have to sign registers? |
|
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 05:52 PM by maryallen
Isn't there a record in every precinct of how many voters actually voted yesterday? Is it too much to ask that the NUMBER of people who signed the books (plus the provisional and absentee votes) be COMPARED to the ACTUAL votes tabulated per precinct?
Why is this too difficult when you consider the hundreds (thousands?) of people who stood in line for 4-6 HOURS to cast a vote?
If we make no effort whatsoever to count these votes, why should anyone ever vote again? They shouldn't ... and they won't in future elections.

pursue this, as HE PROMISED.
Look now how many people, who have never trusted the system before, BELIEVED him, got screwed, and will never again participate.
My heartfelt wish is that all the people who put so much energy into registering new people will put that much energy into contacting those same people, and working to bring them together, and formulating plans to see that they can form ALTERNATE systems to give them voice.
But, I know that won't happen. This won't even be read by anyone.
I'm sorry for those who trusted and got burned once again.

I would be amazed at how quickly some on DU turned on Kerry, but one of the things I've realized is that I hold people in way too high of esteem.
I thought America would see past stupidity and bigotry, and vote based on reason and tolerance. I was wrong.
And then, I thought maybe DU would stay rational. But then I realized - a large part of DU never liked Kerry, and was always willing to attack him based on the most spurious charges.
Kerry's going to stay and fight the good fight in the Senate, where it matters. Many DUers, and you seem to be in this group, are giving up.

I hated him from the beginning: from the primaries, when it became clear exactly what he was: a spineless, right-appeasing, corporate-friendly DLC hack. We've kept our collective mouths shut long enough--now we're going to yell, roll up our sleeves, and start the grassroots work of scrubbing this party clean of the GOP enablers. P.S. Daschle, don't let the door hit you on the a** on the way out!

But it's probably un'murican to ask to check the machine counts against the printouts.
Move along, nothing to see here.

I was thinking just that - they way Kerry was suddenly #1 in the polls - Howard Dean basically ousted. Other candidates stepped aside. Was the fix in a long time ago and WE stupidly did not see it? What happened exactly to Bob Graham, Gephardt and some of the other "strong" contenders (or so I thought)?
Mighty suspicious alright ... was Kerry merely a bullshit "candidate" from the Democratic party? I'd really like to know. Maybe I should ask Tom Delay or better yet, * himself!
Too bad Kucinich did not have the $ to win! :grr:
