BAGHDAD, Iraq - Facing a major assault in Fallujah, insurgents struck back Saturday with suicide car bombs, mortars and rockets across a wide swath of central Iraq, killing over 30 people and wounding more than 60 others, including nearly two dozen Americans. At dawn Sunday, armed rebels launched attacks against police stations in western Anbar province, leaving 22 people dead, at least seven of them policemen, according to police and hospital officials.

Doesn't make it much better, but that appears to be two dozen Americans wounded. We'd hear about it if two dozen were killed.

I was numb, then I was angry, now I am just disgusted! I am disgusted with these "God, Guns and Gays" self righteous self serving, ignorant assholes! People are without jobs, people are homeless, people are without health care insurance, people are hungry, our troops are being slaughtered, innocent people are being killed and people are being persecuted for being born gay, a choice they didn't make. These so called "Value Voters" are passing judgment on others, when they have no right to, while voting against their own self interests! How about alternative papers? The closest
