Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas says he'll introduce legislation next year that will force the federal government to release more information

Cornyn previously disagreed with the White House refusal to share information from Vice President Dick Cheney's energy task force.
And he opposes an FOI exemption on the Homeland Security Department.
"I believe that there are sufficient exemptions to protect national security that don't require a blanket exemption," he said.
Cornyn is still working out the details of the bill he'll introduce, but his early comments are heartening.
I wonder if he's next on the chopping block
