for the Americans and the Iraqis who lost their lives. I cry when I think of Iraqis with no security, ruined homes, and for what? I cry when I think of the soldiers stuck in Iraq, seemingly forever. I've yet to hear of ANY liberal who thinks that killing is something to gloat about.

It's bait and switch...Wingnuts can't either assume or accept the reality that this invasion is turning into a fiasco and the "libruls" are the scapegoat. When the military and political adventures fail, avoid the truth and blame the "libruls".

Sad thing is this horse is still getting lots of mileage out there and millions of sheeple won't wake up until the war comes knocking directly on their door...and even then they'll stick their heads in the sand lest they do the unthinkable and think for themselves.

The only saving grace I see in another one of these tragic episodes is that it may be on more step toward the day this country will have to realize what a tragic mistake this entire adventure has been, in both lives and treasure, and will start really putting the heat on those responsible for this pillage and profiteering.

Come on.... We're doing the same damn thing we did in Vietnam. We're chasing insurgents from one town to the next because we don't have enough forces to secure the entire region and we don't have enough international support to sustain the occupation in Iraq. Chalk Mosul up to this administration's hasty and arrogant strategy. They underestimated the enemy in Iraq in the same way we underestimated the enemy in Vietnam. While we chase our tails going from town to town, the insurgents are becoming more organized and they're gradually becoming stronger through diplomacy with neighboring countries, which in return... supplies them with more armament.

The longer our troops occupy Iraq, the more insurgents their will be due to the Iraqi people's growing opposition to occupation by a foreign military. Eventually, the insurgency will become organized and powerful enough to launch major assaults on U.S. bases in Iraq while disrupting our supply lines.

Eventually, we'll be fighting a large insurgency on their home turf with major gaps in our supply lines and little to no help from the international community. Amazing how a war works... We kill more of them than we have dieing, but we're still losing the war. Hmmmm... Maybe their's more to war than how many enemies you kill.

See, when we learned of the attack on Mosul, we began to cuss a blue streak, with Little Boots as the object of our cussing attack. Repubs cannot fathom how we could cuss out someone so near and dear to their little black shriveled-up hearts. So they had to make something up in their moment of torment and decided to claim that we are "gloating."

Lots of words have dual uses; for example, there's chickenshit from chickens and there's a chickenshit in the White House.

The truth is, though, the paranoia of Repubs is causing them to hear voices :)
