| What's the best euphemism for Democratic/Republican? |

I think it's as simple as nice folks and mean folks.

the line is blurring between Dems and pugs. At least the Dems aren't trying to stop Bush from his outrages. Now we are forming "hit squads" ala El Salvador in Iraq. I think I'm going to be ill.

Most of us are against that crap, but these jerks we elect stab us in the back every time.

I would also venture something along the lines of caring/uncaring.
Also realist/idealist, as Dems seem to realize that people will be people and are very tolerant of differing viewpoints. So called conservatives dream of a world where everyone marches to their song.
I really believe that if given the chance many of the hardcare amoung them would eliminate anyone not agreeing with thier ideology without a second thought.
Hang out on the Yahoo boards for a few minutes and you will see all kinds of calls for the genocide of Muslims, and or 'libs', or anyone they think is a threat to their little world.

i don't have a strong enough knowledge of the language to come up with a name that is repellant enough for what republicans have become and some democratic politicans have gone along with the inhuman devolution of what was once a promissing country.

Pick your favorite analogy.
Whether it's the situational ethics of republicans or the whimpering apologetic enabling from democrats, the behavior is typical of a dysfunctional relationship.
