If you had a friend, a very close friend, but after many years your friend all of a sudden produced tapes of conversations , why would this happen? Do you hear the word bribery? or, someone did not follow the line? I wonder if the tapes and Gannon have any legs? Do you all smell a skunk? A huge skunk?

As soon as I saw the reports about this, I was certain that these tapes were made FOR release.

The "revelations" seem to be carefully crafted to portray the chimp as a flawed man who found God.

The MJ use, for example, seems to be there to downplay his coke use, and also is there to act as a caution to "say no to drugs".

Ther reservations about the religious right don't mesh well with the numerous reports of these people being his mentors.

If there proof these tapes were recorded in 1998-99?

I wouldn't be shocked to find out they were recorded last year, in the WH, with Rove sitting in the corner crefting the chimp's answers.

A close friend of the bushes....."secretly" taped chimp before he was selected pResident. They aired some on the Stephenopolis show this morning. He is a minister no less... they have chimp talking "candidly" about how he felt about some sensitive issues.
