This one woman told me to read the Bible, thought that since Kerry had more money than Bush, Bush helps out the poor more. She didn't use any facts. She said that her 8 year old son adores the President and that's good enough for her.

I mentioned that even Republicans don't support Bush's Social Security plan. I was told that I was wrong and that that was a Democratic ploy.

Someone said that you can't win the election without the NASCAR vote. :eyes:

The same woman who told me to read the Bible more said that I was a pimple on her dog's butt. How Christian of her.

I left when the Christian lady said "Don't bother arguing with idiots. They bring you down to their level."

I thanked her for the advice, told her I was taking it and left.

10. I used to see Hunter S Thompson in those AOL rooms

he would try to argue sensibly with those ignorant people. He'd correct their wild assertions with facts that they refused to believe. I remember once he left after saying something like "WTF's wrong with you people?"
