All of the other candidates had opportunities to let Howard Dean have it at the Baltimore debate yet, with the exception of Joe Lieberman they did not. No. Instead, they waited for a day or two before they registered their complaints. We have Edwards and the "I am the only candidate who speaks to white people about race" thing. We have Gephardt and the Newth Gingrich thing. Now, we have John Kerry joining Lieberman in slamming Dean on Israel.
Look. I don't have a problem with their complaints. Hey, their objections may be valid. Who knows? However, I do take exception to the fact that they do not seem to have the testicles to face him in person and let him have it...ok, ok, with the exception of Lieberman, that is. Suppose someone other than Dean, I don't give a rats ass who, wins the nomination, is that candidate going to shy away from coming down hard on Bush, to his face, in the Presidential debates. Or, are we going to get Gore-ish responses: "Ah agree..."
