i had the grave misfortune of catching the first 15 minutes or so of his show tonight, and he's going on and on about how no other death of a single person had affected him so personally...I thought "Hmmmm...what about that girl they found dead...you know...IN YOUR FUCKING OFFICE..."

WTF....He sent someone to god far sooner than she should have, and now he wants to preach to the rest of the country...... Give me break.

She's been kept alive artificially. They're afraid of death.

For people who claim to have all this wonderful peaceful visual of Heaven and being with God they sure are afraid to go there. I don't get it either.

| 9. I heard Jay Wolfson say this tonight, and i think it was on FOX. |

Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 10:56 PM by Ilsa
Wolfson, the guardian ad litem, ended an interview with the comment that for a nation that claims to be so religious and with God, they sure are fearful of death.
(Yeah, I stopped on FOX for a minute. It looked like Hannity was going to blow a pupil, he was so ramped up.)

| 4. I'm sure he's arguing against the removal of the tube |
|
although, going by his logic, since "it's up to God when people die," then surely he understand that without HUMAN INTERVENTION, Terri would have died 15 years ago when her heart stopped beating and deprived her brain of oxygen for 11 minutes (BTW--irreversable brain damage occurs after 4 minutes without O2)
So, uh, Joey baby...you might want to think your myopic "claim"

Then why should feeding tubes, dialysis machines or ventilators be used at all? They do nothing more than sustain life artificially after the brain and/or other organs have failed.
Don't you just love to watch RWers get all pissed off when you hit them with logic?
