Talk is that the Repugs will try to do the nuclear option soon, maybe this week, as soon as they get back to DC....

The Democrats are prepared to shut down the Government over this. This should be an interesting week, politically. I hope this is what the Democrats have been working on for the last 2 weeks while the repukes have been foaming at the mouth over Schiavo. I hope their plan of action is a winner. We can't afford to lose this one. :(

...it will really make them look like extremists. All the Dems have to do is say "We let 95% of the judges though. Do you really want the 10 most extreme judges in the country making decisions for you?"

It will backfire on the GOP.
