i'm getting physically ill watching Gwen Ifill pander to the DOJ official (i think that's where he's from) in the studio while bashing the ACLU attorney they have on the live feed...interesting that she's tossing softballs to the support of the Patriot Act while questioning the ACLU rep as if she's crazy for even suggesting the government shouldn't be able to do whatever it wants......

it was horrible. the questions she gave to the DOJ guy was like "so tell me why the patriot act is so great and such a wonderful boon to protecting americans...."

then she would turn to the ACLU attorney and say something like "isn't it true that without the patriot act we're all going to die"

it was about the most partisan interview i've heard in a while - with the exception, of course, of anything from faux news...
