Just heard on Radio many other faith leaders are luke warm to new Pope

It was just on the radio. They said his statements about the need for them (other faiths) to become Catholic has left many religious leaders from different faiths feeling cold to-wards the new Pope. Because he is openly critical of all other faiths many are very skeptical of him.

Pope John was not perfect but at least he was really good at accepting other faiths and reached out to the Jewish people and asked for forgiveness. I hope this guy does not set back world peace and tolerance fifty years.

Does it seem like the whole world is headed in the wrong direction now? First it was just the United States now it's the Catholic Church. I feel discouraged for the world right now.
