I'm not saying we should not be concerned about the Elections of 2008. We can get a majority of people in Congress in 2006, and then Justice can return to America. The RW'ers are feeding us propaganda, they want us to think about "Hillary in 08" instead of "Justice and Accountability in 06".

| 1. YES, the number one priority for US and the Democrats must |

be to return to control in Congress in 2006. We can only think about 2008 when the repukes are removed from power in November 2006.
Don't let anyone tell you any different.

Democratic gains in 06 will tend to create an impression of momentum. If the gains are large, it may create a sense of inevitability in 08.

My goodness, yet another voice in the wilderness around here. The crucial election we face is 2006, not 2008 and the time to be getting involved is now...if you're not already.
Gaining Democratic majorities in the House & Senate would put the major brakes on this regime and begin to make our voices heard. It would send a quake through the political landscape that would force the corporate media to start being accountable and DINOs to stop straying.
For those who want election reform, 2006 is where you start. Controlling Election Boards and electing Democrats as Secretary of State and other important state offices enhance the national party's chances of preventing the abuses and making sure all votes DO count...especially Democratic ones.
Any talk about 2008 is meaningless right now. There's also a new party that has to emerge, since the old one is too top heavy. Now is the time to force the change from the bottom up.
