link to threadI'd tell Teron's relatives the same thing I would have told Terri Schiavo's--get a second opinion as to whether he's brain dead, and if it concurs, have enough class to allow the hospital to pull the plug.(4/28/05):
Fight for Life Ends Today for Young Bronx Boy...An independent doctor appointed by Judge Mckeon, talked to the family of Teron Francis and reconfirmed the diagnosis by Montefiore Hospital that the 13-year-old boy is brain dead...There was an injunction to keep the boy alive but now there's been a consensus.

Sounds like common sense prevailed (including mine). The Francis family has my deepest condolances as well as my highest admiration--THIS, President Mightymouse, is an example of "moral courage!"
